1.Kahlon: Dance Party from Abdu Ali at The Crown

Fill the Dance-Shaped Hole in Your Life!

We couldn’t say it better then Abdu: “KAHLON is an eternal wave on the shore for every other other. Dis is a party existing beyond the yonder, in a holographic tundra full of king queen snakes with heads like deers, liquid pyramids, and grass made of gold. KAHLON is for the fera, ones who want to death drop into the stars, and combust their entity for a night of bliss. This is a form free, free form party. Gag friendly and opened hearted. The purpose: to induce escapism without having to run…a musical moovemeant based in BMORE”

2. Genesis P-orridge (Psychic TV) Artist Talk at MICA

Cult Performer Sheds Light on a Fascinating History ov Art and Music

Any sense of artist’s talk being dry or boring should be thrown right out the window with this one. Genesis BREYER P-ORRIDGE, is an English singer-songwriter, musician, poet, sound artist, writer and founder of pioneering electronic industrial band Throbbing Gristle. After TG disbanded in 1980, Gen’s work continued with the formation of experimental band Psychic TV and occult organization Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth or T☠PY. Also, we’re told Genesis makes a mean avocado toast.

3. Club Mnemonic: Schwarz and Mark Brown featuring DJ Angel Baby at Goldbar and The Crown

“The Sky Was The Color of Television, Tuned to a Dead Channel

Baltimore DJs Mark Brown and Schwarz are very excited and proud to announce the return of their “Club Mnemonic” series of Cultural events with “CLUB MNEMONIC: THE RETURN: SPRING BREAK RAGER EDITION” on March 29th, taking over the entire Crown/Gold Bar complex at 1910 North Charles. This semi-regularly recurring club night mixes Cyber Punk references and aesthetics with cutting-edge dance music, centered around Baltimore Club. Previous installments included a night where rising Baltimore Club producer Matic808 performed alongside NJ DJ/Producer Kilbourne and local Abdu Ali while chopped and treated clips from classic Cyber Punk films were projected.

Make Sure There’s a Pocket For Ear Plugs in Your Leather Jacket

Thanks to some local music bookers who love heavy music and possibly hate ears, there is a series of awesome hard rock, punk and metal shows coming to town as the weather warms up.  Kick off the noisy season with this aural ripper at Ottobar and make sure your Schott has a few earplugs nestled between the spikes
