Pumpkin Theatre’s New Home

18 July 2013

★ GiveCorps

zizThere is nothing quite like going to the theater – the lights, the stage sets, and the excitement of a live performance.

For over 45 years, Pumpkin Theatre has been engaging children, parents, educators and students in the wonders of the theater, offering lively productions and educational opportunities.

In the fall of 2013, Pumpkin Theatre will be opening their new home at the Har Sinai Congregation.  The new performance space is a social hall that offers great flexibility for artistic freedom, but needs some equipment to offer a rich theatrical experience.

Moving into this new theater will provide the opportunity for patrons to have better amenities including climate control, upgraded restroom facilities including changing tables, easy and safe parking, a playground, birthday rooms, more accessible parking and an expansion in educational programming.

But Pumpkin Theatre needs our help to make the theater more accessible for the audiences to see the shows. That’s why they’ve teamed up with GiveCorps to purchase new risers, and the lighting and the sound equipment to create a fitting theater experience.

The new theater opens on September 28 and curtain goes up on the first school show on October 4, 2013. Your gift will ensure that Pumpkin Theatre has everything they need for the audience and performers to experience a first-class theater experience.  Let’s make it happen!
