Each year millions of families travel by planes, trains and automobiles to amusement parks all over the world. Upon arrival they’re subject to hours of waiting, oppressive heat, strangers dressed in costumes, paid to hug children, force fed consumerism and food and drinks so loaded down with sugar, insulin is the big prize at the Whack-A-Mole booth.

But worry not, there’s hope! Just this past weekend Sticky Buns Burlesque debuted their inaugural performance aptly named, Infernoland. It’s the tale of a young boy and his family who find themselves in Hell’s own amusement park.

Here we catch up with our heros, the Fish family, while they’re being accosted by demons! Ravenous, scantily clad, sexy demons!

You see that look, ladies and gentleman. That’s the look of a boy, astray from his parents, who just realized that the next hour of his life is going to be filled with women, temptation, and sin. I wish my parents had lost me more often.

Shortstaxx

When Shortstaxx tells your fortune there are only two things that can be certain: It’s probably not going to be good and you probably won’t be wearing clothes by the time you are done.

In case you’re missing the obvious, what you’re looking at is Paco embodying gluttony via tasty cheese doodles and the song “nothing compares” by Sinead O’Conner…. Duh.

A child can really gain a lot of wisdom from the adults around them, but make that child a prepubescent Paco Fish and the adult Roma Mafia the lessons switch from “This is how you tie your shoes” to “How best to avoid falling victim to an Angry Pirate, or an Arabian Death Mask.”

If the Christians are right and Hell really does exist I sure hope it’s the hell Sticky Buns Burlesque depicts in Infernoland, ‘cause that means that the music is better, the women are prettier and there is an ample supply of cheese doodles. Sweet, delicious, artificially flavored cheese doodles.
