On Friday the Druid Heights Community Development Corporation and Historic Pennsylvania Avenue Main Street hosted the 2nd Annual Funky Funkadelic that was so damn funky I’m surprised I can spell it.
While the threat of rain kept many fans of the funk away, those who had faith in fair weather were rewarded with a funkdafied performance by the stellar saxophonist and vocalist Corinthia Cromwell and her Evolution Band. The rain, rain stayed away to come again another day.
