The First Promise :: Short Film

20 August 2014

★ Joey Malinski

I was looking to do a narrative, something simple in terms of set up, where the short relies on creating a feeling in order to be successful. With my wife, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon as motivation, I made “The First Promise” as a way of trying to tell a story that had some truth to and in it’s simplicity, hope to evoke a set of emotions.

Special thanks to Josh Canady for the music and Abby Fanara and Josh Kuderna for playing along.
