Swedish Guy Fingersnaps The Super Mario Theme

23 April 2014

★ Nik Oldershaw

It’s crazy how smug he looks through the duration of the video. This would probably be a lot more enjoyable if he didn’t have a look on his face that screamed “I think I’m the Don Draper of snapping my fingers”. Yeah Emil Axelsson, you’re a pretty cool guy, throw some LED gloves into the mix and you’ll have 15 year old girls at raves squealing in delight while their faces melt into their laps. Maybe I’m just bitter because I feel like Emil has abandoned his roots, I was always much fonder of his earlier youtube videos like ‘Hjulmonteringstest 1’ which was nothing short of a technical marvel or ‘EA Sports, it’s only a game!’ his minimalist masterpiece.

To see more from Nik check out his article on the Kim Jong Un Videogame or this piece on the cancelled Hitler Sitcom. Don’t forget to come hang out with us on social media over here and here.
