★ Philip Laubner

If there’s anything reassuring about the short-lived snafu ushered through Baltimore by an unlikely tropical cyclone this past weekend, it’s that Bosley (and The Bellevederes) will be performing again this Saturday at his CD Re-Release Party at Frazier’s On The Avenue. Doors at 9pm. Show starts at 10pm.

One may wonder, how does Bosley feel about said tropical cyclone so rudely interrupting his CD release show? We found this on the interwebs and couldn’t resist. “BOSLEY VS. THE HURRICANE: This is no coincidence. Don’t you see? Don’t you see that the Gods are trying to stop me from releasing this record? Is this just fate spinning its crooked wheel? I think No! The Gods are angry. I am Odysseus. I spit in the face of King Neptune! But fear not! All the raging fires of heaven could not stop me from giving to you what is rightfully yours. Honey Pig available on CD and vinyl! Bring the thunder. Bosley is waiting.” -Bosley

And so the fates have it. Bosley will triumph over The Hurricane and it will be glorious. Be there to witness this awesome feat of victory on Saturday at Frazier’s in Hampden.

Photographer Philip Laubner paid a visit to the Ottobar last Saturday, where Bosley held it down at the first CD release show for his newest album, Honey Pig. Scroll down for some stellar shots of the musical splendor witnessed last weekend admid the plight of Hurricane Irene.

If you want a little taste of the music, check out the footage from the show below.

Bosley is a busy man these days, what with the new video for Neon Magazine, multiple CD release shows and the his new Kickstarter campaign. His goal is to raise $20,000 before September 27 to create a music video for Sharp Shooter.

“Hot music, fast cars, faster women, big guns, explosions, and sexy, choreographed dance numbers, this is Bosley in a nutshell. From the debut album “Honey Pig” comes the smokin’ hit single, Sharpshooter. Bosley’s on the hunt for the woman of his dreams and this time he won’t let anything stand in his way. Follow Bosley on an explosive, gun-toting rampage around the city as he sings, dances and shoots his way through downtown Baltimore.” -Bosley’s Kickstarter
