The importance of community, and our place in it, is most easily illustrated when we find ourselves in need of a hand. The friends that come to stand with us can be an indication of the depth of our character.

On August 21, DJ Rice, a.k.a Teenage Souls, was brutally assaulted and since has been hospitalized. This past Saturday a benefit was held to raise money for his medical bills. Several performers including, Future Islands, Weekends, Holy Ghost Party, In Every Room and Butt Stomach were on the bill to lend support for the cause.

Monica Noonan and Killian Barnes were inexplicably drawn to the apex of this angle at the precise moment that Theresa Keil decided to take their picture. Coincidence? I think not.
