On Thursday March 31st, What Weekly presents The Witch Doctor Sheriff’s Hoodoo Dance Party. A night of songs and stories from America’s darker sides in the spirit of the 1940’s American South with Afro dance beats and banjo banging.

Hosted by WYPR’s Aaron Henkin
Featuring Book Reading by Baynard Woods author of Coffin Point: The Strange Case of Ed McTeer, Witchdoctor Sheriff.

Musical acts by jazz legend Lafayette Gilchrist, Harwood, and Justin Allen.
All followed by a Hoodoo Dance Party invoked by El Suprimo.

Costumes are strongly encouraged. Early 20th century vintage and folk magic.
