Dance for Peace at Ynot Lot

28 April 2015

★ Kelly Louise

In the wake of the events that occurred Monday evening, our community came out in waves to restore peace and hope in the city. Neighbors lent helping hands to clean up the streets and businesses all morning  and many around the city took to dance. Late yesterday afternoon, Bmore’Than Dance CEO Uneek organized #DanceForPeace to inspire and lift up the unity that the community felt yesterday. With the help of local dance troops and artists like TT the Artist, #DanceforPeace started in Graffiti Alley and moved to the Ynot Lot later in the evening. A similar event will occur again today at the Ynot lot.
