Our resident artists studios will be open during the evening and the Samba Silent Auction offers everything from fine art to vacations!

“FUZZED OUT MOTORIK SPACEROCK” With just the right blend of psychedelia and hypnotic grooves, WHITE HILLS weaves in and out of anthemic chants, deep space bleeps and other worldly madness for a mix that proves to be intoxicating. Since the release of the band’s debut CD, listeners have been praising their originality and unique brand of heavy space rock. 

5. Stop Telling Women to Smile: Artist’s Talk at the Chicken Box

Addressing Gender Issues Through Art

On Thursday, April 24th at 6:00PM, the Station North Chicken Box (1 W North Avenue) will host a public discussion with Tatyana. This event is co-sponsored by Hollaback Bmore. Hollaback! is a movement to end street harassment powered by a network of local activists around the world, who work together to better understand street harassment, to ignite public conversations, and to develop innovative strategies to ensure equal access to public spaces.
