So much can be said on the matter of online social networking that it is actually difficult to pinpoint one topic and discuss without falling into a million other, just as interesting and relevant tangents.

Luckily Glass Mind Theatre Company and their collaborators have done just that.

In their production Please Flag With Care, Director Alex Scally orchestrates an ensemble cast in a depiction of an online world we all know too well.

Glass Mind is highlighting the dangerous and positive aspects of the online world. What does it mean to search for companionship or a friend versus casual sex or even something as trivial as trying to get rid of your couch? How do we facilitate communication over the Internet? There’s a certain expectation that the Internet will fulfill our lives in some way for a lot of people.

In ‘Please Flag With Care,’ Glass Mind Theatre Company shows everyday characters employing the Internet to search for greater meaning and purpose in their lives and then poses the question: What do you do once you think you’ve found it?

For the inaugural season the Glass Mind Theatre Company explores this question in ‘Please Flag With Care’ at the Load of Fun Sept 17-26.
