★ What Weekly

It was my sophomore year of college, and I was living in an all girls college dorm. My dorm had many security measures in place that prohibited those without the appropriate keys and ID from getting in.

I’d gone to a party one night in the fall and met a cute, blond, transfer student. I went to a small, liberal arts college, and by my sophomore year I was familiar with most boys on campus, so the new boy really stood out. I decided that I had to make out with him that night. Fast forward to the end of the party… blond transfer boy and I decided that he would come back to my dorm room. When we returned to my room we proceeded to drunkenly make out and then fall asleep, nothing more… I promise!

Sometime in the middle of the night, blond transfer boy decided that he needed to go to the bathroom. Instead of using the bathroom located right next to my room, he decided that it would be best to leave the building, in his boxers, and relieve himself outside. Once outside in his boxers, he was unable to re-enter seeing as he did not have the required keys. My college Campus Safety was preforming their usual campus night patrol and saw a boy in his underwear standing outside of an all girls dorm in the middle of the night, decided that he was suspicious, and picked him up for questioning.

He had to explain to Campus Safety multiple times that he indeed had been staying with a girl in the dorm and had been locked out, in his boxers, in the middle of the night. It took much convincing but Campus Safety finally believed him, and he identified me as the girl he had been staying with. The next day in the early morning hours I got a knock on my door. I opened it to find blond transfer boy in his boxers with two Campus Safety officers standing on either side. The Campus Safety officers asked if I could identify him as the boy who had been in my room (I shamefully could) and then requested to retrieve his pants.

Not only was I too embarrassed to ever talk to blond transfer boy again, but Campus Safety took great pleasure in rehashing the story often, and did not let me forget the incident for my next 3 years of college.
