Every year Artscape draws too many people to count to the city of Baltimore. People come here to experience the spectacle that is, to certain degree, a concentrated version of a year in the life of your average wildly creative Baltimorean. This is the largest free arts festival in the country and it’s where you can find an example of just about every-which-way human beings choose to flex their imaginations and express themselves creatively. The festival is now in its thirtieth year; it’s woven into the collective narrative of our community, and it’s getting better all the time so thanks for that BOPA. You guys are alright!

We have a couple of stories and a collection of photographs that offer a glimpse of what happened during this year’s festival. It’s impossible to catch everything and one thing we didn’t get photos of was the Down The Rabbit Hole installation that Jim Lucio, Jeremy Crawford, and several others worked hard on. Be sure to keep an eye on Jeremy’s blog where I’m certain more great photos will appear.
