Stomach Turning GoPro Video of Mountain Bike Course

15 April 2014

★ Nik Oldershaw

The only time the guy in this video shows even faint hesitation is when he stops around the 0:57 mark to say “I don’t like the wind” before proceeding to drop vertically down the side of a cliff on a mountain bike. The wind seems like the least pertinent of factors, it would be more appropriate to say something like “I don’t like how soft my bones are compared to this giant rock I am willfully throwing myself down”. Thank god for GoPro cameras, now I can vicariously thrill-seek from the warm comfort of my pile of afghans and throw pillows.
