Baltimore Undercover :: Our Love/Hate Relationship with the First Snow

07 January 2015

★ Ivan Petrov & whatshannonlight

On Tuesday Baltimore woke up to its first snow of 2015: super fine crystals falling steadily through freezing temperatures, which, let’s be honest, we are never prepared for. For some, a day off from work; for others, the worst commute in recent memory—complete with a lot of jeering at city schools for not opting to close or delay. As one of my friends put it best after a day of people either celebrating or bemoaning the snow: “I have an opinion about snow that some people are likely to disagree with.”

What we can probably all agree on is that Baltimore is pretty dang beautiful covered in snow.
