BHFF

Local filmmakers like Barry Levinson and John Waters put Baltimore on the map. But the future directors of our city are just sharpening their teeth – and honing their skills.

That’s why Bea Bufrahi is excited to announce the Second Annual Baltimore High School Film Festival (BHFF).

The BHFF was designed to bring together a community of high school age filmmakers to share their work on a large screen, encourage their passion for filmmaking and receive feedback from peers and experts.

Last year, GiveCorps philanthropists gave generously and helped make the first ever BHFF a huge success. This year, BHFF and GiveCorps have teamed up again so young filmmakers can continue to showcase their work to family, friends, and a network of their peers.

Your gift to BHFF provides a platform to celebrate the students’ work, to connect educators and to build a community of like-minded people who support the arts.

The Second Annual Baltimore High School Film Festival will take place on June 6th at the Charles Theater. Know a passionate, young filmmaker? Review the submission guidelines and submit by May 9th!
