There’s a few sure-fire signs that summer is comin’ to a close here in Baltimore. The leaves start changin’, kids commence to shufflin’ to and from school, housewives get a bit snippity in the produce aisle whilst eyein’ up them last ears of sweet corn when they find their way into someone else’s cart. Up in Hampden the last neighborhood festival of the season gets underway as brave and mildly inhebriated souls climb upon suped-up toilets to find out what they’re made of. I’m talkin’ about Hampdenfest folks. It doesn’t get any more real than this.
