Otakon 2011

10 August 2011

★ Theresa Keil

Once again Baltimore’s annual Otakon Convention summoned a bevy of of eager practitioners of Otaku make-believe. This curious culture of admirers of all things Japanese Anime, from cartoons to video games, consists of individuals who put a great deal of effort transforming themselves into the visage of their obsessions. The resulting costumes make for brilliant images that we love to share. Photographer Theresa Keil was there and brought back the goods.
